On The Water ....
The crystal blue water of the Florida Keys is one of the main
reasons to visit Key West, so it's no surprise that Key West offers such
a wide array of water activities. Captain Bill has spent over 15 years
fishing, enjoying and making a living on the waters of Key West.
Personal relationships with the charter boat Captains, dive boat
Captains, etc. are the key to his helping you select just the right
activity for your group and match you with just the right person to
assure that you have the adventure of a lifetime.
Offshore
Fishing
Offshore boats are 36-50' in length and can take up to 6 people.
Offshore boats troll mostly for pelagic fish outside of the reef.
Air conditioning is available on many of the
offshore boats and all have a with a Captain & First Mate.
Light
Tackle Fishing
Light-tackle boats are 21-35' in length with a center console and can
take up to 4 people. These are the most versatile fishing boats.
They can fish offshore or inshore, your choice. They come with a
Captain.
Everything is hands-on! There's no sitting in a chair waiting for
some deckhand to tell when you can fish.
Bring the wife, husband, and kids and let them catch your dinner for
the night or release what you catch to be caught again another day.
Flats
Boats
Flats boats are 15-20' in length and take up to 3 people. They
are designed to fish in water as shallow as 12" deep. They are
used for sight casting and come with a Captain.
The name says it all. Come along to the dolphin playground and
see these magical animals in the wild.
Take a trip through the calm back-country mangroves and see the Keys
as they were 100 years ago. No experience is needed for this
unique perspective of the Keys.
Bring your C-card and you are off to the wrecks and reefs of Key
West. If you’re not certified and would like to learn we can help
you with that too.
One of the most fun activities that you can do while staying in Key
West! Come see the only living coral reef in North America.
The Beach
While the keys are not known for their vast beaches, there are
several beautiful spots on the island and along some of the uninhabited
islands around Key West. These are great for shell hunting,
lunches, private sunsets or just about any other thing that you desire.
